My name is Owen Harris. I am ten years young, I live in Santa Mina, California and I am a paranormal investigator. My card:

Now, I know what you’re thinking, “Aren’t you a little young to be a paranormal investigator?” Well, maybe. But Mozart wrote symphonies when he was nine and Einstein knew how to do tough math stuff when he was a kid. Who’s to say I’m not a paranormal investigator prodigy?

I guess the question I get asked most often is…“Are you afraid of anything?” And the answer is, no. No, I am not. Not even kind of. Nope. The other question I get asked is what got me interested in paranormal investigating in the first place. I can answer that question in two words:

Ace Hunter!

Before we moved, my stepdad showed me the first Ace Hunter movie on DVD. It was just about the coolest thing I’d ever seen, and since then I’ve seen all three movies at least four times each. This guy hunts ghosts, vampires, werewolves, all kinds of cool stuff. And if I wanted to be cool, it made sense to try and be just like the coolest guy ever: Ace Hunter!

Of course, I've got all the Ace Hunter stuff. Even a hat and coat like he wears. But even with the Official Ace Hunter Monster Hunters Handbook, I was still just pretending. Until we moved to Santa Mina, California, where there’s all sorts of weird paranormal stuff going on. We’ve been here less than a year and already I’ve seen ghosts, zombies, witches, even space aliens!

For more of Owen's adventures, look for his first book, The Ghost Dog Of Santa Mina, coming soon from Galleons Lap
